Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and the entire society. We pay out approximately 260 billion SEK each year. Within the product area of Platform and Integration, we are responsible for the entire lifecycle management of our products within Application Infrastructure and IAM. This includes development, implementation, operation, and management to ensure stable and efficient platform and security services.

You will be part of a team recognized for being at the forefront of their field, where problem-solving is a central part of daily operations. We strive to automate where possible and to develop tools and products, not only for ourselves but also for the business at large.

Architecture governance, development, and environmental monitoring As an infrastructure architect at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, you will play a central role in developing and furthering IT solutions and processes. You will work closely with IT development and IT production to achieve quality characteristics in all phases of development and operation. This includes providing technical support to development teams and advising executors towards secure solutions.

You will also work with IT architecture governance within the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, where your contributions create and implement the future of the IT environment. You will combine business needs, the authority's vision, and other requirements into practical solutions and ensure their implementation through collaboration with other IT teams. Your ability to collaborate with others and communicate pedagogically with colleagues who have varying knowledge backgrounds is crucial for achieving success and effecting change.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has a university degree or experiences and qualifications that can be deemed equivalent
  • has experience in IT architecture with a focus on web and security
  • has solid experience working in complex IT environments
  • has a genuine interest in web security and stays updated on technology and news from the outside world
  • has a good understanding of network security and identity and access management (IAM)
  • has good knowledge of web solutions such as load balancing, Reverse Proxys, Web Cache, Turn, and similar solutions
  • has a deep understanding of web security principles, including OWASP Top 10, XSS, CSRF, SQL injection, and other common threats
  • acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
  • is confident and trustworthy, even in stressful situations
  • can understand and analyze complex issues
  • collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
  • has good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have:

  • experience in IT automation, infrastructure as code, and other methods for managing large-scale IT environments
  • experience with integration of AI solutions (LLM) and protocols such as MCP
  • knowledge of private cloud and container environments, such as OpenShift
  • experience collaborating with developers and security teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and development processes.
